Abstract:
A field experiment with one potato (Solanum tuberosum L.)cultivar Holand-212 were used to investigate the differences in activities of invertase and amylase, and the contents of sucrose, starch, reduced sugar, and soluble sugar in potato leaves among three treatments of spraying SOD simulation material (SODM), choline chloride (Cc) and diethyl aminoethyl hexanoate (DTA-6). The results showed that, compared with CK, the content of soluble sugar, sucrose, and starch were increased for SODM treatment 16 d after spraying, which also significantly improved the reduced sugar content from the 24 th to the 32nd day after spraying. Further, the effect of Cc treatment showed significantly reduced activities of invertase 32 d after spraying. On the other hand, Cc treatment exhibited similar effect on reduced sugar as SODM treatment from the 24 th to the 32nd day after spraying. In addition, DTA-6 increased starch content on the 16th day after spraying, and decreased the activities of amylase from the 24 th to the 32 th day after spraying.
